Hi All,
I've 2 pairs of P. standingi. I would like to switch their respective
mates around as I have found out that one pair could be 1st cousins,
while the other pair is completely unrelated. All 4 of the animals have
grandparents and great-grandparents that were w/c. Since I understand
that this taxon can be monogamous, do any of you foresee a problem if I
perform a switch to break up the possible "cousin" pair? All are
relatively young animals, the "cousins" pair were hatched in different
months in early 2003, and the other pair were hatched in different
months in late 2004.=20
Best....
Jim
