The GGA's Board Listserv is intended for private board business.

All subscribers to the Gecko Listserv are requested to note the following rules of good conduct, which are designed for the benefit of all:

  • No "for sale" posts or other commercial activities are permitted.
  • Remain "on-topic" (geckos or gecko related).
  • No "me too" posts.
  • No personal attacks.
  • Do not copy entire pages of text. When replying to a message, please edit  the original as appropriate.
  • If you change a subject thread, remember to change the subject heading.
  • Think twice before you post! Personal comments (congratulatory remarks,  thanks, etc.) should be sent via private e-mail.
  • Posts must be sent in “Plain Text” ASCII format only.  Rich Text or HTML formats are not allowed as they cause archive problems, and use excessive bandwidth.
  • Gecko photos are allowed, but are limited in size to 128 Kb and should be in JPG format. Submissions exceeding 128 Kb will be rejected.

Using gecko
To post a message to all the list members, send email to gecko@lists.gekkota.com.

Subscribing to gecko

Subscribe to gecko by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list administrator. You will be notified of the administrator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the members list is available only to the list administrator.

    You must enter a privacy password. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.

The subscribers list is only available to the list administrator.
